Device Communication Interruption

Resolved

On August 7, 2026, MavBase experienced a service interruption affecting device communications. Device updates were delayed, and some information displayed in MavBase was not current. Restarting the production service restored normal operation.

Investigation findings

A thorough investigation did not establish a definitive root cause. The investigation found no evidence of unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of customer data. No customer data was leaked.

Resolution and follow-up

The production service was restarted, restoring device communications and normal MavBase operation.

Following the incident, we upgraded the supporting infrastructure and expanded service observability and health monitoring. We also added automated watchdog protection to detect stalled services and accelerate recovery and escalation.
